1. How do I know which sunglasses size will fit me?

Each product page includes lens width, bridge size and arm length. Compare these to a pair you already own for the best fit.

2. What do the lens measurements mean?

Lens width is the size of each lens, the bridge is the gap between them, and the arm length is how far the frame extends over your ears. These measurements help you choose the right fit.

3. Are your sunglasses polarized?

Many of our styles are polarized. Polarized lenses reduce glare from water, roads and reflective surfaces. Look for the “Polarized” badge on each product page.

4. What is TAC lens material?

TAC (Tri Acetate Cellulose) is a lightweight, impact-resistant lens material commonly used for polarized sunglasses. It offers clarity, scratch resistance and reliable UV protection.

5. Do your sunglasses block UV400?

Yes. All sunglasses sold on sunnies.com.au provide UV400 protection, blocking 99–100% of UVA and UVB rays.

6. Are your sunglasses compliant with Australian standards?

Yes. Our sunglasses meet the requirements of AS/NZS 1067.1:2016, which covers UV protection, lens categories and safety.

7. What are the lens categories (Category 2, 3, 4)?

Lens categories describe how dark the lenses are.

Cat 2: Medium tint for everyday use
Cat 3: Dark tint for bright sunlight
Cat 4: Very dark; not suitable for driving

8. What frame materials do you use?

We offer frames made from TR90, acetate, stainless steel, polycarbonate and other durable materials. Each style lists its specific construction.

9. Are TR90 frames better?

TR90 is extremely lightweight, flexible and durable. It’s ideal for active use and comfortable long wear.

10. Do you offer kids’ sizes?

Yes. We have children’s sunglasses designed for smaller faces with flexible, durable materials.

11. How do I clean my sunglasses?

Use a microfibre cloth and lens-safe spray. Avoid paper towels, clothing and harsh chemicals, which can scratch the lenses.

12. Do you offer prescription sunglasses?

Not at this time, but many customers purchase our frames to use with their own prescription lenses.
