TAC (Tri Acetate Cellulose) is a lightweight, impact-resistant lens material commonly used for polarized sunglasses. It offers clarity, scratch resistance and reliable UV protection.

Yes. All sunglasses sold on sunnies.com.au provide UV400 protection, blocking 99–100% of UVA and UVB rays.
6. Are your sunglasses compliant with Australian standards?
Yes. Our sunglasses meet the requirements of AS/NZS 1067.1:2016, which covers UV protection, lens categories and safety.
7. What are the lens categories (Category 2, 3, 4)?
Lens categories describe how dark the lenses are.

Use a microfibre cloth and lens-safe spray. Avoid paper towels, clothing and harsh chemicals, which can scratch the lenses.
12. Do you offer prescription sunglasses?
Not at this time, but many customers purchase our frames to use with their own prescription lenses.
